• The Joint Director (Finance) is the section head of Finance Section.

• The JD (F) has the responsibility of releasing funds to Urban Local Bodies/Implementing Agencies under various schemes such as, SFC Tied and Untied grants, AMRUTH, SBM, PKGBY and 15 FC for implementation of development works at ULB levels.

• Preparation and submission of SFC Budget, 15 FC Budget and other scheme wise Budget.

• Preparation of DMA & DUDC salary and Non-salary Budget.

• Payments of Salary to permanent/outsource/contract employees at DMA.

• Release of Non-Salary grants such as TA, outsource salary, general expenses, telephone expenses, building expenses and transport expenses to DUDC.

• Transfer of salary grants to KMAS officers who are working at various ULB’s.

• Opine service and financial matters.

• Preparation of compliance to outstanding Audit para’s of KSA&AD and monitoring Adhoc committee reports at district level.

• Preparation of compliance of AG’s Audit para’s, C&AG’s report and local bodies and panchayat raj committee reports.

• Preparation of pension papers of KMAS Officers.

• Supervision of HRMS complaints raised by ULB’s.

• Implementation and supervision of NPS of ULB’s permanent employees.

• Maintaining and monitoring of DMA Bank Accounts and P.D-Accounts in digital format.

• All schemes transactions have been fully computerized through online platforms such as, Khajane-2 and FBAS have been using state programs and PFMS online portal is being used for CSS.

• Assistant Director is the PIO pertaining to Accounts section.

• Any other work entrusted by Director, DMA time to time.
